Michelle DiDonato is a member of Carney, Kelehan, Bresler, Bennett and Scherr’s real estate practice. Specifically, Ms. DiDonato is experienced in representing developers in real estate acquisition and financing and lenders in connection with the financing of commercial and multifamily projects. She also is well versed in the laws governing commercial leases, having represented both landlords and tenants in commercial lease negotiations. She also works with developers in the creation of condominiums and homeowners associations.
Additionally, Ms. DiDonato has developed a particular expertise in matters concerning the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Her clients include both lenders and developers in connection with HUD financing for multifamily and nursing home projects. She also works with property owners in other HUD-related matters from Section 8 renewals to IRP decouplings to utility conversions.
Ms. DiDonato is also of counsel to The Jim Rouse Entrepreneurial Fund, Inc. in Howard County, Maryland.Practices
